Athens Technology Center (ATC) supports the GFOSS – Open Technologies Alliance and participates in the 2nd Pan-Hellenic MoodleMoot Conference, held on 29 & 30 November at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The conference aims to promote a fruitful and creative dialogue within the educational community regarding the use of Moodle, to highlight its good practices in Greece, and to present innovative uses of Moodle operations in Greece and internationally.
In this context, ATC will present the integration of the Moodle platform with Saba Meeting and its exploitation in a nationwide project on behalf of the Hellenic Open University (EAP). In this project, Moodle is used as part of an integrated solution for both asynchronous and syncronous eLearning services, with the participation of 40,000 students and 2,000 teachers.
For the specific project, ATC integrated Moodle with a Cloud Based Enterprise application (Saba Meeting), providing high quality, contemporary and user friendly eLarning services, which are characterized for their reduced management and infrastructure costs.
Athens Technology Center (ATC) designs, develops, and deploys innovative Human Resource Development and Management solutions, provided either on-premise or on cloud-based models. In this context, it has successfully covered the needs of a variety of public sector organizations, including the Organization of Development Programs Management (MOU) Unit, the Public Health School, and the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration, as well as private-sector leaders, such as Zerto (Israel), National Bank, Wind Hellas, Demo Pharmaceuticals and others.
