We are very happy to announce that Athens Technology Center (ATC) will be part of the EANA Spring Conference. The event will be hosted by the Federal News Agency (FENA) and will take place in Hotel Europe in Sarajevo, from May 11 to 13th, 2022.
In fact, ATC supports the EANA (European Alliance of News Agencies) Conference as a Sponsor, consistent to its promise to support Publishers and News Agencies worldwide with novel software solutions. The event will bring together leading news agencies from most European countries, including some of the world’s most influential media, such as France’s AFP, Germany’s DPA and the UK’s PA Media.
While societies are plagued by war, the pandemic, and disinformation, each one potentiating the other, the Conference will focus on ‘Fact & Fiction during War and Covid19’, presenting solutions to the information crisis.
Having just successfully launched 2 major projects for the News Agencies of Malaysia and Cyprus, ATC will be joining EANA to present its expert knowledge on resources, tools & tips for accurate media coverage and also discuss how Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning tools can support newsrooms to verify digital content, automate production processes and engage audiences in more productive ways.
In specific, during ATC’s presentation on May 12th, at 14.00 pm, delegates of EANA will have the chance to experience:
- newsasset PLUS, the revamped, enhanced version of newsasset Suite. Newsasset PLUS is more than an all-in-one, editorial, digital asset management & multichannel publishing platform since it embodies advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) capabilities to help contemporary media organizations to verify digital content, maintain high levels of editorial flexibility and automate production processes, while also engaging audiences in more productive ways.
- the benefits of Truly Media, a collaborative platform co-developed with Deutsche Welle (DW) to support the verification of social media content. Truly Media is the preferred verification platform used by the European Observatory against Disinformation, while also being trusted by organizations such as DW, Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen, FactCheck Mongolia, the European Science -Media Hub (ESMH) and Amnesty international.
- the way to have access to in-depth Twitter analytics with TruthNest, which supports the identification of true influencers and detection of trolls and bots by profiling Twitter user accounts based on their activity, network and influence.
